Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 renders have surfaced online ahead of the official announcement; read more to find out about the colours and design that may be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2021, Barcelona.

The consumer electronics giant Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds 2 renders have been circulating online for a while now. Whether it is about the specs, design or colors - by now almost everything has been claimed online. The images surfaced online unveils the design in its full glory though it doesn’t yet reveal some of the key specifications of the new buds set to be officially launched.

The leak of gadgets online before their official release by the brands has become mainstream these days. From the leak it is clear that Galaxy Buds 2 will have two microphones for improved noise reduction, and their in-ear design will include silicon tips. The Galaxy Buds 2 aren't expected to have active noise cancellation but will have active noise reduction. Other insights comes from various leaks which shows official looking product renders of the Galaxy Buds 2 and users will have the option of picking from the color choices of black, green, purple and white. Though it doesn't reveal some of the key specifications, the images do attest that the buds will come in a rounded edges case that will have a white exterior, while the internal color will match the buds.

In fact, the recently leaked renders of Galaxy Buds 2 does show its striking similarity to the earlier launched Galaxy Buds Pro in terms of the design and does take inspiration from the Buds Pro. The FCC filing showed the Buds 2 with a charging case that holds a 500mAh battery, and each earbud will have a 60mAh battery.While these are appalling pieces of information leaked, there is certainly much more to the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. That would clearly be revealed during the launch event unless, of course yet another leak divulges more information about the specs. Rumour it that Samsung might unveil the Galaxy Buds 2 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2021 virtual event at Barcelona, titled as the ‘Samsung Galaxy MWC Virtual Event’ but also holds out the possibility that the buds might be revealed at the unconfirmed Galaxy Unpacked event in August, when Samsung may launch new Galaxy Z devices. The event will be broadcasted on the company’s official youtube channel. Exactly what that may entail has so far, not been revealed.

The report was short on other important details, especially when it came to shedding light on the price details for the audience who were eyeing this box. While the other specifications for the Galaxy Buds 2 are under wraps, it does hint that Samsung will likely market these as a lower-cost alternative to the Buds Pro — possibly coming in at $150 or less.
