What Has Changed With the Main Camera?
This is arguably the biggest practical upgrade.The iPhone 17 Pro has a 48MP Fusion Main camera with a fixed f/1.78 aperture.The iPhone 18 Pro introduces a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. Users can select between f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0 settings.Why does that matter?Changing the aperture gives photographers more control over light and depth of field.
