Apple’s latest iPhone 13 is officially here! And we have all the details on the iPhones, including the better and brighter displays, a faster chip, and camera and battery life upgrades.
So far, the cinematic video feature is the best upgrade, holding the focus on the subject even when it moves. It not only blurs the background but also changes the focus automatically as you shoot.
As far as iPhone 13 mini is concerned, it promises 1.5 hours battery, while the other two variants of the series iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max assure 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours of battery, respectively. However, here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched iPhone 13 series.
What do we know so far?
The iPhone 13 lineup will be available in five fantastic colors: red, starlight (like a whiteish tone/shade), midnight (a blackish shade), blue and pink. The two-camera lenses on the back of the smartphone have been placed diagonally.
Along with the upgrades such as better speed, increased battery life mentioned above, the iPhone 13 models also add a Cinematic Mode, which uses an automatic focus to shift between subjects in the video and is discussed in detail below. With the arrival of the iPhone 13 comes the arrival of iOS 15 and will be launching for a free software update on September 20. It will include updates to FaceTime, a Live Text feature where users can search text within images, and a Focus mode to manage your notifications.
And of course, there is an iPhone 13 Pro model too. The Pro is available in four finishes: graphite, gold, silver, and sierra blue. In comparison to the standard models, they appear to have a more metallic appearance. And there's still the three-camera system on the back of the phone as well. For the big screen lovers and enthusiasts, Apple has launched the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple claims that it offers the quickest graphics processing of any smartphone, making it ideal for gamers and improving the experience. The Pro will have a 6.1-inch screen and Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch screen. The Pro models also have a new Super Retina XDR display and ProMotion, which offers really high refresh rates and adapts depending on the activity. In other words, it improves your user experience of scrolling and swiping through your phone.

iOS 15 and iPhone 13
The best and top iOS 15 features include the updates to FaceTime that allows you to share videos and other content with friends and family, a brand-new focus mode to manage your notifications, and enhancements in your maps, messages, wallet, weather, and other built-in apps. However, just like you, we are waiting to find out about iPhone 13-specific features hidden in iOS 15, which Apple didn't mention in its presentation.
What is much talked about cinematic mode?
The Apple iPhone 13 series, as expected, includes a new setting called the Cinematic Mode, which is essentially a version of Portrait Mode for use in videos. From persons or things in the background to those that are closer to the camera, the feature is capable of highlighting and framing the main aspects in a video clip. When the focus of the footage shifts, the mode will anticipate it. To assist in creating this mode, Apple says they looked into cinematography, which is utilized in filmmaking. Interestingly, the mode will shoot in Dolby Vision HDR as well.
iPhone 13 outlook
The iPhone 13’s major focus is on the upgrade of the cameras and the bionic chip. The notch is smaller finally and the photography capabilities are certainly impressive. The iPhone 13 looks like it offers quite a bit over its predecessor.
To add to the upgrades and offerings, the Pro models have 120Hz ProMotion displays, which will help iOS 15 feel exceptionally smooth. All four models getting sensor-shift stabilization is absolutely amazing, as are the ultrawide improvements across the board.
Lastly, as per the information, the release date for iPhone 12 is September 24 for all four models. The iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available to pre-order on Friday, September 17.
