Design & build quality of latest OnePlus Nord 2
Nord 2 has a big 6.43-inch display with a hole-punch camera in the top left corner. The panel has thin bezels, and only the bottom portion is slightly thicker.
OnePlus has switched to a glass back for the Nord 2 which gives it a premium look and feel. You get Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front and back. OnePlus has used the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor to power the Nord 2. The company claims to have worked with MediaTek on the processor to improve its AI capabilities, and so it is officially called the Dimensity 1200-AI.

The OnePlus Nord 2 supports 4500mAh dual cell battery life. It is powered by a larger 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, which is twice as fast as the Warp Charge 30T on the original Nord. The brand claims it is capable of delivering about a day and a half worth of battery life without any issues.
The bundled 65W Warp Charger is capable of taking the battery to 58 percent in 15 minutes and 98 percent in 30 minutes.

Color OS & Oxygen OS merge for new OnePlus phones
Recently, OnePlus announced that OxygenOS will be merging with Oppo's ColourOS to share a common codebase and the effects of the merger can already be seen in the UI. Speaking about the settings and the Camera apps in particular, which now show some ColourOS influence. The OnePlus Nord 2 runs OxygenOS 11.3 on top of Android 11.
